Sandy hired Jeff as a Personal Trainer in 2008.
I have been meeting with Jeff on a weekly basis since November, 2008. First he sits down with you and wants to know what your goals are and what you hope to accomplish by working with him. I have to admit that at first I was a little leery about working with a Personal Trainer as I am 58 years old and thought “can I do this”.
I am a very rounded shouldered woman who is afraid that if I don’t address this now that in the future I will become more round shouldered and stooped over. My back bothers me between my shoulder blades and after a short walk around the block, my back hurts.
Jeff is very, very professional and a very caring person. He is also extremely patient. I have never been uncomfortable working with him. He is an extremely knowledgeable Personal Trainer. If I can’t do what he asks because my body won’t allow it, he modifies the exercise according to what my body can tolerate. I have made progress and am doing things that I never thought possible. I am standing up straighter and am stronger than I ever thought possible.
To show you just how caring a person he is, I want to share with you what happened to me. Jeff thought it would be advisable for me to see a Chiropractor due to the fact that my spine has been in a poor position for so long that my spine needed to be changed to benefit from his working with me. I told him I was not to keen on that idea and “how do I pick one?” He asked me to look up chiropractors in my health plan in the local area and bring him the names. He then called some of this Chiropractors and spoke with them about my problem. He than picked out one of them and I went to see the one he picked. I went a little nervous but thought I would give it a try. I have been seeing the Chiropractor with good results and Jeff and the Chiropractor work together. The other situation that happened to me was that I met Jeff at the club and had a spot in my back that was hurting and Jeff assessed the situation and said he thought I should not work with him that day. I said I felt bad that he came to meet with me and he said “that is part of my job”. He asked when I was to see the Chiropractor next and it was to be the next day. I called to see if I could get in that same day and it turned out that I could. Jeff than said he was going with me to make sure that I was not hurt and he consulted with the chiropractor. It turned out that the Chiropractor worked on that area and I was able to continue with Jeff. But Jeff said he had to make sure I was alright. He cares about who he works with.
I will continue working with Jeff and would recommend him to anyone. He knows his business very well. This experience has been one of the best things I have done for myself.
